Bury assisted the City of Somerset with obtaining a USDA Grant and a CDBG Grant through Bexar County for the expansion of the City's existing wastewater treatment plant from 0.18MGD to 0.32MGD. The USDA Grant was the largest grant given to a city in Texas to date according to USDA staff. Bury also prepared and processed the discharge permit amendment through TCEQ and prepared the construction documents for the new headworks, mechanical bar screen, oxidation ditch, two clarifiers, chlorine contact basin, effluent discharge pipe, return activated sludge pumping station and a non-potable water pumping station, which was required for the 0.32MGD plant discharge.
