Quakertown Park (formerly Civic Center Park) serves as popular location for civic festivals and special events, with thousands of visitors who enjoy the various venues. Bury was involved in the new master plan, which redefines the future use of existing buildings and facilities, park zones for large special events and festivals, strategic parking locations, and well designed connectivity to the downtown area and local universities. One of the exciting ideas for the park is creating a central lake along the existing drainage way as the backdrop for performances and community gatherings.
