The new Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC) Office is located on 9.2 acres of land adjacent to the Historical BAMC Building. The project included a 160,000sf six story office complex with adjacent parking and detention facilities. Fort Sam Houston requested water for fire protection from San Antonio Water System (SAWS). Since military installations typically are all self contained, Bury helped coordinate with SAWS to provide this fire water service outside of SAWS service area. Bury also designed two detention pond facilities for each of the site drainage areas to minimize the storm water impact for downstream structures.
