The City of Gatesville's North Fort Hood Wastewater Transfer project consisted of an assessment of what infrastructure installation and improvements would be required to transfer 50,000GPD of wastewater from North Fort Hood to the City's collection system. Two new lift stations were required, along with the rehabilitation and expansion of an existing lift station, and a wastewater treatment plant expansion. Bury designed two duplex submersible lift stations of 340 and 415GPM capacity, with associated emergency power generators, telemetry systems, and odor control systems. Services also included the design of 8,000lf of 12-, 15-, and 18-inch gravity wastewater line to parallel an existing line that was at its capacity. The wastewater line improvements included two borings and an aerial crossing.
