Crestview Station is a 73-acre mixed-use redevelopment of the Huntsman Petrochemical plant, located in North Central Austin adjacent to the Capital Metro rail line, which is next to a proposed commuter rail station. The development will be a dense, "transit-oriented development" and preserve 17 acres of the North Austin Optimist ball fields. It will also provide another four acres of open space. The total build out of the project includes the construction of 8,000lf of storm sewer, 12,500ft of private roadways, approximately 16,000lf of public and private waterline and 14,000lf of public and private wastewater line. The development is divided into two phases consisting of commercial space and multi-family (Phase I) and single family (Phase II).
