This 750,000sf mixed-use development included 100 acres of undeveloped land surrounded by residential subdivisions and a TxDOT freeway under construction (Loop 1604) and a major arterial (SH 16). The project is anchored by Target and Lowe's and includes numerous retailers, a fitness center and several dining establishments. The site was bisected by an existing roadway. The overall grading of the site required that ±75,000 cubic yards of material be cut from one side of the road and moved to the other. This required substantial coordination with the City of San Antonio and development agreements allowing the earth moving equipment to cross the road without having to place material in trucks to move it from one side to the other.
