The JW Marriott Hotel is located on a 2.028-acre site two blocks from the Convention Center in downtown Austin. The hotel plans to have 1,012 total keys, 33 floors, over 110,000sf of space, including 54,000sf of ballroom space and 61,000sf of meeting and exhibition space, and 438 parking garage spaces . Food and beverage outlets will include two restaurants, a high-energy lobby bar, and coffee shop.
Cevallos Lofts is a four-story, 252-unit multi-family project with an underground parking garage and is located on a 10.21-acre site on Cevallos Street, near the Blue Star area in downtown San Antonio, Texas. This redevelopment project, developed by The NRP Group, had several abandoned warehouses on the site and is zoned IDZ (Infill Development Zone). IDZ zoning allows a more flexible approach to development and encourages urban design and pedestrian activity. Bury+Partners was responsible for the site civil engineering and survey services which included preparation and processing of a subdivision plat, relocation of a 16-inch publ ic water main, private utility design, and site grading and drainage.
Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is a 53-acre mixed-use development that includes approximately 520,000sf of specialty retail and leisure space, 285 residential units and 170,000sf of Class A office space. Future plans include a 135-room hotel and a cinema, all in an urban village setting. Existing wetlands and waters were mitigated as part of the project design. Defined by its conservation-focused designs and wide-open spaces, Watters Creek is one of the first retail developments in Texas to become LEED certified.
This new recreational complex will include a large indoor recreational facility, synthetic track/football stadium complex, new softball and baseball fields, cross country track, trails, wetland area and parking. The project will connect the historic Mission Concepcion to the San Antonio River with a series of trails. The project will also be done in an environmentally sensitive way, through a partnership with the San Antonio River Authority and the National Parks Service.
