Engineer Larry G. Heimer on Wednesday won the 15th annual Philip M. Barshop Founder's Award.
A surprised Heimer received the award Wednesday at the Pearl Stable in front of a crowd of about 400 people. The Real Estate Council of San Antonio hosted the event.
"I almost fell out of my chair," Heimer said. "It's definitely a surprise. It's great to be associated with this award."
He's a managing principal at Bury+Partners Inc., an engineering firm, and a former president of the Real Estate Council.
