The History of Bury+Partners

Since 1984, the exceptional team of professionals here at Bury+Partners has been helping build the communities in which we live and work. From the beginning, we have aspired to at least four tenets:

• Meet and exceed deadlines
• Provide a professional atmosphere promoting growth opportunities for every member of our team

These tenets formed the basis of our core values known as The Bury Way.

Our first client in 1984 remains a client of our firm today. We have learned that by first understanding our clients business strategies we are better able to help them achieve their goals on each project. One successful project leads to another which is why Bury+Partners remains focused on long term relationships.

Over the years, our services have expanded to meet the growing demand of our clients. Civil engineering and survey drove our business for the first 12 years and remains a leader today. In the 1990s, we formed a Landscape Architecture practice (formerly Land Design Partners) that has influenced the allure of client sites nationally and internationally. In 2006, we added Project and Construction Management to our suite of services with the acquisition of HS&A. The last five years have been just as active. We have added MEP, Structural, Traffic, Transportation and Planning engineers to our team of professionals who have been involved in high profile projects all across Texas. In 2009, Bury+Partners agreed to serve as mentor in the formation of Saenz+Bury Engineering, a minority/woman owned small business enterprise. And in 2012, we agreed to serve as mentor to GarzaBury, LLC, a Minority Business Enterprise and Historically Underutilized Business.
